Excellent review! Regarding the artwork recreations, I just heard a podcast with Michael Cuscuna onTheVinyl Guide and he discusses what has survived and what no longer exists in the Blue Note vaults. Thankfully the recreated artwork is not limited to scans of original lp covers like most record labels have to do these days. It could very easily not exist at all.
